Founded by Natacha Esmail Pereira, a fashion industry veteran with over a decade of experience and a degree from Parsons University in New York, Samsaree is more than just a resale platform – it's a passion project born from a deep love for South Asian fashion and a desire to make it accessible to all.

Raised in Lisbon, Portugal, with Indian heritage flowing through her veins, Natacha's roots in Indian culture and fashion run deep. Her wedding, a celebration that fused her Portuguese upbringing with her love for Indian fashion, was a testament to this connection. Dressing her Portuguese friends and her husband's family in exquisite Indian clothing was the highlight of her life, sparking a passion for Indian fashion that would shape her future endeavors.

In 2015, Natacha founded her first online store, specializing in Occidental clothing. However, her heart was always drawn to Indian fashion, and the idea of Samsaree was born out of a desire to share her love for South Asian clothing with the world.
